  • Shannon Walton-Clark (they/them)

    Board Chair

Shannon received a graduate degree in government from Johns Hopkins University in May 2018. They have dedicated most of their professional and personal life to LGBTQ+ equality and advocacy. They are an avid historian, spending way too much free time reading historical nonfiction. When they're not reading they're typically cooking, playing with their cat and visiting the Oregon Zoo.

  • Jenna Devenberg (she/her)

    Vice Chair

Jenna is a student at Portland State University finishing her B.S in Political Science. She works as a campaign coordinator focused on getting women and BIPOC candidates elected. She loves spending time with her wife and daughter, especially playing any type of games, Settlers of Catan and Fortnite are family favorites!

  • Shelby Walton-Clark (they/she)

    Secretary/Treasurer

Shelby has spent the last 10 years as a queer advocate in education, and nonprofit spaces. They taught elementary music, 5th grade, and jazz education before landing as the nonprofit liaison and grant manager for Trimet’s Fare Relief programs.

In their free time, you can find Shelby crafting, playing gigs with their punk band, crafting, playing board games with their spouse, and watching horror movies.

  • Danielle Taylor (she/they)

Danielle has happily called Oregon “home” for the past 11 years and is currently pursuing a Masters in the GTEP at PSU in the hope of becoming a high school Art teacher. She is a parent to two lovely humans and has been married to her high school sweetheart for 26 years. She has been volunteering in schools and advocating for LGBTQ2SIA+ students ever since moving to Oregon. Other passions include gardening with native plants, making art, reading, dance, and playing D&D with her family (among other wonderfully nerdy pursuits).

  • Tess Misenti (she/her)

    Board Member

I'm Tess and I'm so excited to serve on the Board for Westside QRC! I live in Hillsboro and have worked in libraries in Washington County since 2017. I'm excited to bring my passion for connecting people to resources and helping create safe spaces for queer folks. I love road trips, crafting, reading queer romance novels, working 1000-piece puzzles with my wife, and drinking Steven Smith tea (current fave: Lord Bergamot). I'm a mom of two kiddos and one senior puppy.

  • Abigail Sibelman (she/her)

Abigail is a former teacher who lives in Hillsboro with her wife. She has a Master’s of Education from Portland State University. Since the beginning of her wife’s transition, Abigail has felt called to serve and advocate for her local LGBTQ+ community. As a teacher, she always believed in her students’ rights to be their authentic selves, a value she holds for every human. She and her wife are currently navigating their path to parenthood. At home, Abigail enjoys reading and watching sci fi, playing board games, and cooking tasty vegetarian meals.
